A Time of Reflection and Gratitude

Our family has been fortunate to live all over the world, from New York to London, Toronto to Miami. These experiences have offered our family a life rich in culture and has introduced us to friends all over the globe.

We have lived in luxe homes and others that were less appealing. However, the aesthetics have never made a difference in our level of happiness. Some of our best memories were during Covid while living in a rental in Toronto with second hand furniture and outdated bathrooms. It’s the love of the family unit that trumps all. And some of our toughest times were while living the most plush, at a time when illness struck one of our family members and devastated our lives.  And now as we recover from this extremely challenging and devastating time, we are once again in a new home, that is in fact very old and needs extensive renovations. And yet again it makes no difference at all. The only thing that matters in the end is your health and happiness and unfortunately those things cannot be bought. So as we near the Thanksgiving holiday, think not of what you don’t have and instead focus on the blessings you do. Nurture your relationships, love deeply and take time for self care.  In the end it will be all that matters.
