Crawling Along

 Crawling is one step beyond stalling. That’s what home renovations feel like. It has given me another week to crawl and stall on my own tasks as well. However,, we have crawled to the next stage of our floor installation. The floors are all in and on Friday we tested a few stains. Keeping in line with the sustainability of our project, we are using Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C stain, which is both sustainable and VOC free.  

The five colors we sampled are:

Oyster, White, Black, and Savannah and Titanium Grey… all on White Oak.

We spent the weekend reviewing our interior design plans, paint colors, counter samples and furniture etc. to select the most favorable color. Yet, we have decided to test one more. This will stall the crawl further. The change in floor color alone is going to be remarkable when it finally prevails! Until then I await completion with great anticipation.
